About Sinus Infection

Sinus infection, or sinusitis, is an inflammation of the lining of your sinuses. It can cause congestion, runny nose, facial pain and fever. Most cases are caused by a virus and resolve on their own, but a small number of cases require antibiotics.

What we can do
  • Help diagnose viral vs. bacterial sinusitis and treat with antibiotics if indicated
  • Recommend management options
We may ask you to
  • Take your temperature
  • Hop on video so we can assess your state
  • Follow-up with an in-person medical assessment if your symptoms seem more severe
What we cannot do
  • Assess you properly if you are a diabetic, pregnant or have a complex medical history and thus may ask you to be seen in person assessment
