About Medication Renewals

At Akira we understand that sometimes it is difficult to get to your primary care provider for medication refills. If your family doctor does not renew prescriptions directly through the pharmacy, we may be able to help.

Getting help

What we can do
  • Bridge your prescription until you are able to see your family doctor
We may ask you to
  • Have your prescription bottle or blister pack ready so we can verify the name and dose of your medication
  • Upload a photo ID for identification purposes
What we cannot do
  • Prescribe controlled substances which include narcotics, stimulants, or benzodiazepines

He has also worked with McKinsey and others as a business consultant and has been involved with healthcare startups in Canada. He is passionate about the revolutionary potential of mobile health.
